UPDATE #1: I want to upgrade this post. Tim, a Director, from Stanley phone me this afternoon to let me know he wanted me to be a happy client. After, I explained that his service supplier sprayed all around my bed, and the items underneath my mattress, charged me an outrageous price and that they had been running a promotion for servicing a house/yard much bigger than mine for $135, he offered me support for 1/2 of everything I had been charged ($485), but would not honor the promotion.
I think Tim felt great about his deal. I obviously didn't, and remain an unhappy client. I told Tim when my workers treated people and provided service the way Stanley had done, I'd have given away my services for free and done anything necessary to fix the issue. .
UPDATE #2: Another update. . .Tim just called back and said he felt bad about the way I had been treated all day and wanted to honor the promotion cost for $135. It's actually kind of Tim to reconsider. I expect Stanley invests in training its employees on customer support and being good citizens.
